A one-page investor brief in an hour

Investors decide whether to meet you on one page. AI cannot invent your traction, but it can make the page clear, ask the hard questions first and catch what is missing.

What you need

  • Revenue, growth, cost to win a customer, retention, monthly burn and cash in hand
  • How much you are raising and what for
  • One hour

What you will have

  • A one-page brief
  • Ten hard questions, answered
  • A score against the InvestorReady scorecard
  1. Step 1: The problem, in the buyer’s words

10 minutes · Claude or ChatGPT

Start with the pain, not the product.

In three sentences, describe the problem adults over 35 who have lost a tooth in Jaipur has that Sharma Dental Studio solves with dental implants. Use the words a buyer would use, not industry words. Then one sentence on what they do today instead, and what it costs them.
  2. Step 2: The numbers investors ask first

15 minutes · Claude or ChatGPT

Paste your real figures. Never let a model fill a number for you.

Make a clean table of these figures for an investor one-pager: monthly revenue for the last six months, growth rate, cost to win a customer, how long customers stay, gross margin, monthly burn, cash in hand. Use only the numbers I give; write [missing] where I have not given one.

  3. Step 3: Why now, why you

10 minutes · Claude or ChatGPT

Two short paragraphs: what changed in the market, and why this team wins.

Write two paragraphs of 60 words each for Sharma Dental Studio: why now (what changed in the market that makes this possible today) and why us (what the founders know or have that others do not). Leave [fill in] for any claim that needs proof.
  4. Step 4: The ask

5 minutes · Claude or ChatGPT

Amount, what it buys, and the milestone it reaches.

Write the ask in four lines: the amount, the three things it pays for with rough shares, the milestone it gets us to and by when, and the runway it gives. Plain numbers only.
  5. Step 5: Stress-test it

15 minutes · Claude or ChatGPT

Let a sceptic read it before an investor does.

Act as a sceptical seed investor in India. Read my one-pager below and ask me the ten hardest questions you would ask in a first meeting, hardest first. Do not soften them.

  6. Step 6: Score it
